Glastonbury Police Nab Suspect In Jewel Theft

Glastonbury police have arrested a Hartford woman and charged her with stealing over $26,000 dollars in jewelry during a real estate open house.

Agent James Kennedy says 43-year-old Sharon Lynn Nigosanti is charged with first-degree larceny.

Kennedy says it was back on January 20 that Nigosanti posed as a prospective buyer for a home in town and committed the theft.

She’s being held on $100,000 bond.

Kennedy says they’ve not ruled out the possibility that Nigosanti was working with an accomplice and whether they were involved in other similar crimes in the state.
