Connecticut  officials say the dangerous Vibrio bacteria has not caused illnesses in people who eat shellfish pulled from state waters.  The State Department of Agriculture Environmental Analyst Kristen Drosia-Banick says Connecticut has a successful oyster and clam industry.

Tuesday the department is meeting with people who harvest shellfish, to provide updated information on the bacteria, and how to use refrigeration to prevent it from growing.
