AHL “Whale” To Return To “Wolf Pack” Name

WTIC’s Scott Gray reports the Hartford franchise in the American Hockey League, who failed to qualify for the playoffs,  has played its last game as the “Connecticut Whale.”  Scott’s sources tell him that the AHL has approved a request to return the name to the “Hartford Wolf Pack,” with an announcement from team owner Madison Square Garden expected this week.
