Ashford Woman Acquitted In Son’s Overdose Death

Jurors in Danielson Superior Court today acquitted an Ashford woman in the overdose death of her son.  Heather Specyalski was represented by defense attorney Terry Donovan.

“Heather testified during the trial that Brandon was her baby, and she can not have another child,” Donovan said. “She can not have another child, and she gladly would have given her life for him.”

Almost a decade ago, she was acquitted of manslaughter in a separate case, involving a crash in which she was in a car with a prominent business man, when the car crashed in Cromwell.
