Man Held In Juvenile Stabbing

Police in Naugatuck have arrested a man wanted in a stabbing from last summer.

They say they picked up Joseph Gay on Tuesday.

The incident was reported July 30 of last year.  They say Gay allegedly stabbed a juvenile in his apartment.

Police say the two were acquainted with one another.

The victim was found on Rubber Avenue and later taken to Waterbury Hospital for treatment.  From there, the victim was then transported to Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

As for Gay, he’s being held on $500,000.00 bond.
