Bristol Whole Donut Robbed

At approximately 8:14 p.m. Sunday the Whole Donut restaurant, 2 Burlington Ave., was robbed when a lone male walked into the business and exclaimed to the cashier, “I’m going to rob you!” The suspect quickly began to encroach on the cashier, causing her to run out the back door.

The suspect then rifled through the cash register taking an undetermined amount of money before exiting out the front door of the establishment. The suspect was last seen walking North on Burlington Avenue (Route 69).

Once outside, the cashier yelled for help which drew the attention of two males that witnessed the suspect leaving. Bristol Police Officers, including a K-9 unit, descended quickly on the scene however the suspect could not be located. The cashier was unharmed in the theft.

The witnesses described the suspect as being white, approximately 6-feet tall and weighing between 160-165 pounds. The suspect was additionally described as being in his 40s with white facial hair and wearing a dark jacket or hoodie, blue jeans, a surgical type mask along with blue surgical type gloves.
