A woman is under arrest after police say she drove her car into a house this morning.

Police in West Hartford are charging the woman with DUI after they say she crashed the car into the house around 12:30.  According to the “Hartford Courant”, Tirsa Camis of Hartford failed a sobriety test at the scene.

Police say the 24-year-old’s blood alcohol level was .227, almost triple the legal limit of .08 Connecticut.

The accident occurred around 12:30 at Elmhurst and Mayflower Streets.  No one was hurt in the crash.

Investigators say Camis’s car jumped a curb before striking the house.
