Police at Central Connecticut State University have sent an alert to the campus community about a man who has been banned from the campus –  and is subject to arrest if he violates that ban.

Campus police say they were alerted by another police agency that 24-year-old Daniel Smedley of New Britain had made threats against a CCSU commuter student.  Police notified Smedley that he has been banned from the campus,  and asked students to report him if they see him on campus.

They released Smedly’s photograph, and a description of the vehicle he may be driving — a 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer,  with Connecticut license plate 655-XWC.
