State Police and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a fatal fire shortly before 7:00  this morning at an apartment operated by the Thompson Housing Authority.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 92-year-old Anita Jarvais died in the fire.

One firefighter also suffered a minor injury battling the blaze at the Gladys Green Apartments on Riverside Drive.
