Connecticut’s federal disaster assistance for Superstorm Sandy has reached $40 million, reports WFSB.

It’s been granted to residents in all the counties hit hardest by the storm. The deadline to apply for the assistance is Feb. 12. This comes from a $60 billion dollar Federal Aid package approved on Capitol Hill.
