Authorities in New Haven are looking for a man who held up a woman behind Berney’s Pharmacy Friday Evening.

Police were called to the scene around 6:30pm.

The pharmacy associate said she was heading to her car when she was confronted by a man holding a gun. He made off with her backpack and cell phone, and fled on foot toward Salem Street.

Authorities found the woman’s cell phone in a nearby alleyway.

The suspect is Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, and 5-feet 9-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket, a hat, white gloves, dark pants and a blue ski mask.
