VERNON, Conn. (AP) _ Vernon police have searched the home of a man who traveled to central Wyoming and fatally stabbed a woman before he shot his father in the head with a bow-and-arrow and killed himself with a large knife.

Vernon Police Stg. Timothy O’Connor said on Saturday that the search of Christopher Krumm’s home was triggered by the attacks in Casper, Wyo. that left three people dead, including the 25-year-old assailant who previously lived in Springfield, Mass.

Authorities say Krumm first stabbed 42-year-old Heidi Arnold about two miles southwest of Casper College on Friday morning. He then went to the college and shot his father, 56-year-old computer science instructor James Krumm with the bow-and-arrow.

O’Connor says whatever was recovered in the search of younger Krumm’s home was turned over to investigators in Wyoming.
