Girl Dies After Being Ejected From Car In Rollover Accident

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) _ A 10-year-old girl has died after being thrown from a car that went off Interstate 91 in Middletown.

Jasmine Bryant of New Haven was declared dead at Hartford Hospital about an hour after the accident on Sunday.

State police say the girl’s aunt, 29-year-old Keshia Bryant, was driving the vehicle. She and her daughter, 5-year-old Aniya Santos, both of New Haven, were seriously injured and taken to Hartford Hospital.

State police said that Keshia Bryant lost control of the vehicle as she was driving north. The car rolled several times before coming to rest.

The two children were ejected.
