Police Seek Armed Suspect In Convenience Store Robbery

Springfield Police are asking the public’s help as they investigate an armed robbery at the Racing Mart on Page Boulevard early Wednesday.

Police released security camera photos of the suspect wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black hat and gray sweat pants who entered the store at 1:30 a.m.,  threatened the clerk and demanded cash.  Police say when he tried to leave and found the door locked,  he kicked the glass in the door, breaking it,  and left by another door.
