A Hartford police officer is facing multiple charges following his arrest in connection with a fatal traffic accident this summer.
Investigators say Officer Taikwon Dudley was on his way to assist other officers when his cruiser collided with Anthony Mansfield’s car at the intersection of Albany Avenue and Woodland Street July 13th. Mansfield died a week later.
Dudley faces charges of negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, traveling too fast for conditions, reckless driving, and failure to obey a traffic signal.
Dudley is free on a written promise to appear. He’s due in court October 25th.
