Two Stolen Shriner Jeeps Recovered

Two of the three stolen Shriners’ Jeeps® taken from Newington have been recovered —  though they’re being held as evidence for now, and won’t be available for parades for a while.  Sphinx Shriners Motor Patrol Capton Weston Bedore says the group carried on with a reduced fleet of the crowd-pleasing vehicles at last weekend’s Coventry and Southington parades.

Hartford police say the miniature vehicles were found,  in good condition,  at a pawn shop on Zion Street in Hartford.
