Griswold Couple Died Of Smoke Inhalation

GRISWOLD, Conn. (AP) _ The Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner has ruled that a couple died of smoke inhalation in a house fire in Griswold.
Wayne and Linda Guyette were killed in the fire on Tuesday.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Thursday would have been Wayne Guyette’s 65th birthday. His daughter told The Day of New London that a surprise party was scheduled for Saturday and the gathering will now be a memorial.
