State Police say a 73-year-old woman spent the night in her crashed car, after going off of I-91 in Wethersfield.  Other drivers saw Anna Deleo alongside the highway about 8:30 this morning,  sitting on the wire rope guide wire.  She had been in the car all night,  until she was able to get out of the vehicle this morning and crawl up the embankment until she was found.

Police say she told them she became ill while driving,  and her 199 Oldsmobile Cutless crashed down an embankment,  through the shrubbery and into a tree off the the side of the highway and was not visible to drivers, either on I-91 or on the exit 25-N ramp nearby.

Police had issued a Silver Alert for her overnight,  after she did not arrive home after her daughter told them she had left a Windsor Locks restaurant about 9 p.m. with what they described as a large amount of money.
