New Charges In Investigation Of Glastonbury Doctor
A Glastonbury doctor faces new charges in a sex abuse investigation. Clinton Police say 43-year-old Dr. Tory Westbrook was arrested on eleven separate warrants, including 25 counts of sexual assault and one count of illegal prescription of a narcotic.
Dr. Westbrook was first arrested June 5 after a five-month investigation of charges involving sexual assault of patients at Clinton’s Community Health Center, between 2010 and January of this year. He resigned in February.
The latest arrests are part of an ongioing investigation which includes the Medicaid fraud unit of the Connecticut State’s Attorney’s office, Middletown prosecutors, state and federal drug control agencies, State Police, and East Hampton, Manchester and Clinton Police.
Bond on the new charges was set at $1.1 million dollars. He’s due in court this afternoon.
