Meriden police have named a person of interest in the June 27 robbery and murder of EZ Mart owner Ibrahim Ghazal. Police say Frankie Resto, 36, has most recently lived in Meriden or New Britain.

Police say Resto has a violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous. Resto is decribed as a light-skinned Hispanic male, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 190-200 pounds.

Meriden police say anyone who spots Resto should not approach him, but should contact their local police department with details. Anyone with information about Resto is asked to call Detective Benoit at 203-630-6297.
