Man Killed In Laundromat

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Stamford police say a man has been killed during an apparent robbery at a Laundromat.

The Stamford Advocate reports the middle aged victim was found dead early Tuesday morning inside Uncle Buck’s Laundry on Stillwater Avenue.

Stamford Police Lt. Diedrich Hohn tells the newspaper it appears the man died from a blunt force injury as a result of the robbery.

Hohn says the man ran a side laundry business out of Uncle Buck’s, and may have been killed Monday night. His body was found at about 1:20 a.m. The laundry closes at 11 p.m.
