Madison Police have arrested a local man after he allegedly fired a shot in the direction of an employee at Donahue’s Madison Beach Grille on Boston Post Road early Saturday.

Michael Foy, 24, was involved in an altercation with other patrons and retrieved a gun from his vehicle after restaurant employees intervened, said police. Foy allegedly fired a shot in the direction of a worker before fleeing.

Police say Foy was apprehended a short time later and faces charges including first-degree attempted assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and possession of a loaded gun while under the influence. He was held Saturday morning at Madison Police Headquarters on $200,000 bond.

Minor injuries were reported in the incident.
