CPTV Sports To Carry Connecticut Sun Games

Just days after losing the University of Connecticut Huskies when SNY signed a deal with UConn to add  women’s basketball games to its broadcast schedule,  CPTV has announced a deal with the WNBA Connecticut Sun to televise up to 23 Sun games.

The games will be broadcast on CPTV Sports,  a 24-hour sports channel owned and managed by Connecticut Public Television.  The action begins with tonight’s game against the Minnesota Lynx.

Former UConn players Tina Charles, Renee Montgomery, Asjha Jones and Kalana Greene are on the Sun roster.
