New Haven Police say a city man was shot and killed Friday night while walking with his father on Frank Street.

Nathan Richardson, 29, was shot shortly before 8:30 p.m., as he and his father, Latif Richardson, were walking toward Washington Avenue, said police.

Nathan Richardson was pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

The shooting is New Haven’s third homicide of the year.
