HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut/AP) — Police say one person is dead and a second one is in critical condition after fighting broke out twice at a house party in Hartford.

Police Sgt. Steve Kessler said Saturday that officers responding to a report of about 20 people fighting outside a three-family home late Friday found one victim unconscious in the driveway. Emergency workers performed CPR and took the victim to Hartford Hospital, where the person was pronounced dead.

Police say a second victim is in critical condition after walking to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds to undisclosed locations on the body.

Investigations revealed that a fight began inside the apartment during a house party and guests were asked to leave. A second fight broke out outside the home.

Police say no one has been arrested by Saturday morning.

Authorities did not immediately identify the victims.

A city run by slumlords and welfare. A 3 family house??? Really? Where’s the landlord? Probably doesn’t even live in the northeast. That’s the problem with Hartford and Springfield, MA.
