Governor Names New Chief Of Staff

Governor Malloy named a new chief of staff Thursday, after the announcement last month that his current chief of staff,  Timothy Bannon, that he would be leaving the administration.

Mark Ojakian,  currently Deputy Secretary in the Office of Policy and Management,  will replace Bannon.  He’ll take overwhen Bannon leaves January 5.

Malloy paid tribute to Ojakian for his efforts to reach a budget deal with state employees,    and thanked Bannon for his efforts over the last year.
