Mosquitoes positive for the West Nile Virus have been found in three more Connecticut towns.
The State Mosquito Management Program reports that mosquitoes trapped in Cromwell, Milford and Norwalk on August 3 and 4 tested positive for the virus, the first positive finding this summer for any of those towns.
It brings to 19 the number of Connecticut communities where the virus has been found. The other communities are Bridgeport, Danbury, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Hamden, Litchfield, New Britain, New Canaan, Orange, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Westport, and Woodbridge.
No human cases have been reported this year.
