A Wallingford man scheduled for arraignment tody in the death of his girlfriend.

Forty-one-year-old Luis Roman is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge Wednesday morning in Meriden Superior Court.

Roman is wanted in the kiling of  54-year-old Susan Mazzarella, whose body was found in her Danny’s Way condominium. Police say she had been strangled.

Roman was released from prison last month after having served a year in jail for two domestic assaults on Mazzarella.

He was taken into custody at the New Haven bus station July 19 on a parole violation and is being held in lieu of a $1 million bond. Police obtained a murder warrant on Tuesday, and are expected to formally charge Roman in court today.
