White House Environmental Advisor In CT

President Barack Obama’s environmental policy adviser is coming to Connecticut to visit a fuel cell company in South Windsor and a city park in Hartford.

Nancy Sutley is set to visit UTC Power and Keney Park on Thursday. She’s chairwoman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will accompany Sutley at both visits.

Officials say Sutley will talk about the president’s support of clean energy and the jobs it creates during the late morning visit to UTC Power, which makes fuel cells for buildings, cars, buses as well as space and marine uses.

She’ll be at Keney Park later in the day to discuss the Obama administration’s America’s Great Outdoors Initiative, which supports urban communities that create safe and accessible outdoor space.
