WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) _ Father and son cab drivers have a court appearance next week to answer charges they refused a ride to a blind man and his guide dog at Bradley International Airport.
Twenty-four-year-old Mansoor Ahmad and his 60-year-old father, Naveed Ahmad were charged Friday with denying rights to a handicapped person.
Police say the two would not allow Jim Piccirillo and his dog Bina into their taxis. Mansoor Ahmad told WVIT-TV he was attacked by a dog when he was a child and has a fear of them.
The airport taxi clerk called police.
