Mass Police Make Arrest in Fatal Stabbing of Newington Man

Springfield police have arrested a 33-year old local woman in the death of a Newington man who was stabbed to death while visiting family in Massachusetts.

Noemy Ramos turned herself into police in connection with the death of 32-year old Carlos Beslanga.   She was charged with two counts of being an accessory to murder after the fact.   Ramos faces arraignment today in Springfield District Court.

Police are still looking for the main suspect in the case, 37-year old Luis Manuel Cintron, who police say stabbed Beslanga during a fight.

Beslanga was visiting relatives in Springfield over the weekend when he was ready to head home.   He stepped into an alleyway to relieve himself and was confronted by Cintron for urinating on his property.  That’s when police say Cintron stabbed him in the chest.
