SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) – Police in Springfield are on the lookout for two suspects in the fatal weekend stabbing of a father of four from Connecticut.
Police say 32-year-old Carlos Gonzalez Beslanga was stabbed Saturday in front of two of his children as he urinated in an alley between two houses. Authorities say a man who lived in one of the homes took offense, an altercation started and
Beslanga was stabbed.
The Newington, Conn., man was taken to Baystate Medical Center with a stab wound that pierced his lung and heart. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Beslanga, his fiancee and their children were in Springfield to visit relatives.
Police have identified the suspect as 37-year-old Luis Cintron. They think Cintron and his girlfriend, Noemy Ramos, fled in a car after the stabbing.
