Flags Ordered To Half-Staff For Korean War Soldier

Governor Dannel Malloy ordered the state and national flags to fly at half staff on Thursday,  in honor of a Hartford native killed in action during the Korean War whose remains were repatriated this week.

Corporal Primo Carnabuci is being buried in Clinton.

Corporal Carnabucci was a member of the 8th Army Cavalry Regiment,  one of nearly 600 servicemen killed in action or reported missing in action in the Battle of Unsan on Nov. 1 and 2,  1950.

Remains found in a mass grave in 2000 were identified through DNA testing.
