Windsor Man Wounded In Bloomfield Shooting

Bloomfield Police are investigating a shooting early Friday morning which left a Windsor man with a non-life threatening injuries.

As a group of individuals was congregated in the are of Forest Lane and Banfield Lane around 1 a.m., police say a yet-to-be-identified man approached the group and fired two rounds before fleeing on foot.

One of the bullets struck Lenox Flowers, 23, said police. Authorities say friends brought Flowers to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The suspect is only described as a 6’3″ black male. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Bloomfield Police Detective Matthew Suplee at 860-242-5501.
