State Police are asking the public’s help as they investigate a December theft at the Jewett City Flea Market.  Police say a wallet was stolen from a person who made a purchase there Dec. 12, then credit and debit cards from the wallet were used to make fraudulent purchases at stores in Lisbon, Norwich and Waterford.

Police say security cameras at the Target store in Lisbon and the Wal-Mart in Norwich captured the suspect,  and a photo believed to be her vehicle.  They ask that anyone with informationa bout the suspect contact Trooper Jeffrey McDermott at (860) 848-6565, extension 5060.
