Bradley Airport Gained Traffic in 2010

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) _ Bradley International Airport says its passenger traffic increased in 2010 despite a sluggish start to the year.

A news release says 5.4 million passengers passed through the airport in Windsor Locks, Conn. last year, up from 5.3 million in 2009.

Transportation Commissioner Jeffrey Parker said Thursday that a strong finish to the year reflected the success of a recently completed $200 million airport terminal improvement project.

Bradley is the second largest airport in New England after Boston Logan International Airport.
