State Police Investigate East Hartford Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

An accident involving a pedestrian and two vehicles, one of them an East Hartford Police cruiser is being investigated by State Police.It happened near the intersection of Burnside Avenue and Walnut Street at about 6:45 Thursday evening.The pedestrian suffered serious injuries.
Police say the cruiser was apparently the secondary vehicle involved.
