Torrington Police are seeking the public’s help in solving an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farm’s convenience store in Migeon Avenue late Tuesday night.

Shortly before midnight, police say a man armed with a knife entered the store, demanded cash, and fled with an undisclosed amount. The suspect fled westbound on Route 4 in a four-door silver vehicle, possibly a Chrysler Sebring or Dodge Stratus, said authorities.

The suspect is described as a white male,  5’8″ tall, with a medium build, between 40 and 50 years old, last seen wearing a gray and black hooded plaid jacket.

No one was injured in the heist.
