Low-Fare Bus Line Returning to Hartford Market

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Megabus is returning to the Hartford market.
The discount carrier says it will begin daily service next month from Hartford to New York City and Amherst, Mass.
Megabus is promising fares as low as $1 and also plans to give out 1,000 free tickets as a promotion between Dec. 15 and Jan. 15. The carrier withdrew from the Hartford market last year, citing disappointing sales.

As a former Megabus passenger I am very happy to hear that you are coming back to Hartford! I hope you will soon also consider reopening the Hartford-Boston route. Your buses were beautiful and your drivers were some of the best I have ever ridden with. Thank you, Megabus operating such a successful busline and for helping keep fares low.
