State Trooper Involved in Head-on Crash
A Connecticut state trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries Thursday morning when State Police say a vehicle that had lost its brakes slammed into the trooper’s patrol car in Middlefield.
The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Route 66 and Route 147, said police.
The trooper was taken to Middlesex Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
It is the third crash this week involving an on-duty state trooper. None of the accidents involved serious injury.
