New Jersey Man Dies in Upper Moodus Reservoir

EAST HADDAM, Conn. (AP) _ State Police say a New Jersey man died at an East Haddam reservoir, possibly due to drowning.
Kevin Imor was with friends Saturday at the Upper Moodus Reservoir and went into the water alone. Police say he went under the water and did not resurface.
His friends tried unsuccessfully to find him. Troopers, emergency medical personnel and fire officials responded to 911 calls, and the State Police dive team found the 45-year-old Imor.
He was declared dead at the scene.
The chief state medical examiner’s office will do an autopsy.
