Owners Harry Misteri and Bernard Manocchio got into the business more than 25 years ago to help other music-lovers in Connecticut like themselves create the perfect listening experience. They carry unique, hard-to-find, foreign brands such as those made by Britain’s KEF and France’s Focal, including the later’s new Sopra line. The Audio Store even carries outdoor speakers, such as the Sonnance Landscape Speakers and those made in Canada by Paradigm (which although are cleverly disguised as rocks are “not your average garden-variety speaker” as Misteri and Manocchio note with a smile). They even carry what are called “invisible speakers” that are finished to blend in with the wall into which they are mounted.
