Lake Quassy is excited to kick off their opening season with tons of family fun and an exciting Easter Egg Hunt adventure on Sunday afternoon. In addition to the egg hunt, the family can enjoy loads of fun with the exciting rides, food, and games for all ages to enjoy. The entire weekend is called the $45 Carload Weekend, where if you can fit up to 10 people in your vehicle, everyone in the car will get an all day pass to take advantage of all of the rides as much as they want, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Dinosaur Place at Nature’s Art Village is preparing for their 6th annual Dino Egg Hunt with Monty the dinosaur on April 2. Scattered about the village are several large and colorful eggs ready and waiting to be found by you, the adventurous child. You can pre-register for this family fun event by calling the village. There is a fee to participate and limited space available. Rain date set for April 9 at the same time.

Each year several of the Wallingford elementary and middle schools participate in the “Egg Your City” Easter festivities. Schools like Cook Hill Elementary, Moses Y Beach Elementary and Lyman Hall allow their students and their families to experience a day with the Easter Bunny and participate in Easter egg hunts for children.
