An alternative to outdoor camping is renting a cabin at Pequot Lodge Campground. Pequot Ledge Campground one and two bedroom cabins separate from the campsites. The cabins include a private bath and shower, refrigerator, and outdoor grill for cooking. No bedding is provided such as sheets and pillows. No pets are allowed in the cabins. Average cost per night is $85. Activities including fishing and canoeing are available on Gardner Lake.

Located near Bailey Pond, Connecticut travelers will enjoy the great outdoors at Circle “C” Campground. The grounds provide outdoor camp sites as well as small cabins for rent. The rustic one room cabins have no electricity, but sleep five and provide shelter in comparison to tents. There is a two night minimum to rent the cabins for $45 per night per family unit. No pets are allowed and be expected to bring your own air mattress or sleeping bag. Each cabin includes a fire ring and picnic table in the outdoor corridors. Bass fishing, hiking, and special planned events are some of the outdoor activities at the campground.
