Vito’s By the Park is one of the best happy hour spots in Hartford. From 4 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, customers can get half-priced appetizers, $3 draft beers, $4 house wine and $5 well drinks. On Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., the raw bar is also half-price. And on Monday, five different “creative” martinis are just $5 each. The view of Bushnell Park you’ll have while dining on the half-priced apps and drink specials isn’t bad either.

Arch Street Tavern was voted best happy hour spot in the state by Connecticut Magazine for 2009. And with daily drink specials and free food, it’s easy to see why. From 5 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, customers can enjoy $2.50 Bud and Bud Light draft specials and a free happy hour buffet. Yes, that’s right: It’s free. There are also $3.50 drink specials, which change daily.

At everyone’s favorite watering hole, City Steam Brewery Café, happy hour is a must. From 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, all handcrafted beers are $2 off. There are also $3 happy hour bites including calamari, mini-mac and cheese, and buffalo chicken dip. You can also get 3.5 litre beer bongs for $16 and $18. Happy hour specials only apply to the first floor.
