(Coventry, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The boil water advisory for a portion of Coventry has been lifted.

Those serviced by the Pilgrim Hills public water system were advised to boil their water on Thursday after a crew struck a water main and the water pressure dropped.

Connecticut Water Company says the advisory was canceled after lab tests confirmed the water quality was not impacted and that it was safe to drink.

The advisory had impacted between 75 and 100 customers.
