(CBS Connecticut)  After almost a year-long investigation, the Hartford Police Department has made an arrest in the murder of a 29 year old man.

On July 12, 2014 at approx 4:55 a.m., Hartford Police Officers found Tyshawn Crawford, of Hartford, in the area of 20 Auburn Street suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he died.

Detectives from the Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division stayed with the investigation for 11 months, and on June 15th, Hartford PD Major Crime Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 29 year-old Chiffon Milner of Hartford.

On Wednesday, June 24, Milner was arrested in the town of Manchester. Hartford Major Crime Detectives interviewed Milner then brought him to the HPD Booking facility, where he was charged with Murder, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Use of a Firearm.

A $2,000,000 bond was set.
