Another Connecticut parent has been charged with leaving a child alone in a car.
Thirty-seven-year-old Brian Healy of Norwalk was arrested by local police Sunday night. Authorities say he left his infant daughter alone in his car while he shopped at a Wal-Mart, and he was charged with felony risk of injury to a minor.
The Hour newspaper reports that a witness called authorities after seeing the child sleeping in the car. Police say Healy told them he forgot his daughter was in the back seat.
Several Connecticut parents have been charged with leaving their children alone in vehicles this summer, including a Ridgefield man whose 15-month-old son died in hot weather.
