(CBS Connecticut) — On Wednesday,  Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley was doused with ice in the viral phenomenon known as the “ice bucket challenge,”  credited with raising millions of dollars for Lou Gehrig’s disease.  One of the ground rules of the challenge is that the challenged person can designate three more participants.

One of Foley’s challenges was to Governor Malloy.  Malloy’s campaign announced today that he’ll be dowsed with ice tomorrow in Stratford,  at the finish line  of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Dash 5-k race at Short Beach.  The governor is running in the race.
