Hartford, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) A Canterbury man who was a state-paid babysitter was in Hartford court Tuesday after being arrested last year for sexually assaulting a pair of girls he was baby-sitting in 2004 and 2005 in Norwich and Jewett City.

Shawn Keck, 41, is charged with four counts sexual assault and four counts risk of injury to a child.

He reportedly made $49,000 while babysitting the girls during that time period.
